How much money should you pay?
What kind of property can you afford to buy? The prices of homes in Florida are determined by many factors, but the most prominent factor is the home's proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. Oceanfront properties carry the biggest price tags. Prices begin lowering as one moves away from the waterfront. A home that gives a view of the Intracoastal Waterway will cost more than a home that provides a view of a golf course.  New homes cost more than older homes.
