Things to Do in Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale offers a variety of cultural, historical, and social activities. Bicycle along the beach strand, do some underwater exploring, or windsurf.  If indoor activities are more your style, The Broward Center for the Performing Arts, the Museum of Discovery and Science, and the historic Stranahan House are all within walking distance of each other in the city's center.

Fort Lauderdale hosts the International Boat Show each year. In 2008, the event will occur from 30 October through 3 November. The show, spread across six locations features more than US $3 billion worth of boats, yachts, superyachts and everything that goes along with them, from every major marine manufacturer and builder worldwide.
