Leaders in law, architecture, engineering guide Propeum in RU

MOSCOW -- Propeum partners serve Americans and Westerners who plan to launch construction or manufacturing projects inside Russia. Mr. Raimo Katila, Mr. Mikhail Stepanovich Krivosheev and Mr. Tapio Pietilä guide Propeum activities in Russia.

Mr. Katila is Managing Director of East West Consultants, of Moscow and Helsinki. He is generally regarded an authority on the legal system of the Russian Federation and former Soviet Union states, and on Finnish-Soviet joint ventures in the Soviet Union.

An Expert Architect, Mr. Krivosheev holds the title of “Honoured Architect of Russia.”

Mr. Pietilä is a pioneer of  international joint ventures between Finland and Russia in the steel construction industry. He provides consulting services in Russia and Finland, focusing on real estate development and project management, foreign acquisitions and financing, and enterprise start-ups.Mr. Krivosheev provides independent consulting services for Proman projects which lie outside of his daily responsibility, interest or activity. His full-time employment is as senior specialist and leading expert for the Mosgosexpertiza of the City Government of Moscow.

Independently, Mr. Krivosheev has, in past years, supervised construction of underground parking facilities(100,00o m²), road infrastructure objects(150,000 m²), an office building in Novoslobodskaya(30,000 m²), and a commercial center in Kaluzhkay(10,000 m²), for example.

Their pattern for cooperation is time-tested and proven successful.

Back in the 1980s, for example, Mr. Katila and Mr. Krivosheev worked together to solve permitting problems that for three years had prevented the construction and operation of the OOO Finndisp dispersion plant, a 2,500 m² project. Various types of polymer dispersions are used in the production of water-borne paints, lacquers and adhesives. Mr. Katila and Mr. Krivosheev analyzed and addressed the company’s permitting problems, and within three months had secured all required permissions from relevant authorities. The plant was constructed and sold as a turn-key operation to Rohm and Haas.

Now, Mr. Katila and Mr. Krivosheev lead experts and companies in a loose association of several hundred specialists represented as The Proman Group. Members of the group vary according to need, depending on the character and location of the object. The core of the group consists of 12 experts in as many disciplines.
